Yesterday we celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I thought everything turned out lovely. I think my parents had a very enjoyable day visiting with family, friends, and acquaintances from over the years. It was a good day. It was good to be back in my home town and visit with people I grew up with ~ from a former Sunday School teacher, high school teachers, church family from different places, neighbors, and family. I am thankful that we had the opportunity to celebrate this occasion and for everyone who helped make it possible. I am thankful for my parents. May God bless them.
I know the most important part is missing ~ the people ~ but I will respect their privacy.
