Getting to Know Me

I am an imperfect person, with an imperfect family, with imperfect parents and siblings, and imperfect friends, but I sure love them all.  I live in an imperfect world with imperfect people (who sometimes frustrate me tremendously), but even being a person of solitude I would be awful lonely without them.

I have a Savior, whose name is Jesus.  I would not need a Savior if I were not a sinner, enough said.

For the most part, I will try to put my best foot forward, but when I do not, you will see weakness in me.   I will not excuse the behavior, just warning, it could happen.

If you are a "white-glove" person and could not stand some disorder or dust you might not like hanging around me.  On the other hand, if you like to chat a bit and feel that you can let down your guard you might enjoy stopping by.

There is no way I am going to tell you everything about me, but if you stop by you will get to know me through my words.  You might hear love expressed, sorrow, joy, or frustration.  Maybe you will hear words of peace, words of comfort, or words that convict.  You could hear my hurts or words of regret.  Lots of things I will internalize and keep between me and God or me and the person (or people) involved.  Some things are not meant for everyone.

I believe the Bible holds the truth and we should live by it --- that includes EVERYONE.  I confess that I fall short in many areas.  That does not change the TRUTH, it just lets me know where I need to change.
