Gratituesday

It is a beautiful, beautiful day. I am so thankful for the sunshine. I still have hopes of getting a small garden area tilled up and planted. I have several plants waiting to go into the ground. Between having problems with the tiller and then lots of rain, I was beginning to think it would never happen. But for today ~ the sun is shining and I am hopeful that one more part will fix the tiller and we can get started soon. If not, there is always the farmer's market and we are always blessed with vegetables from my husband's parents. Time will tell ~ but there is hope, and hope is powerful!

Gratituesday ~ Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

 
I am thankful for the mercies of God that are new every day. That when we stumble He keeps us from falling. I am thankful that He is willing to include us in His work. What a wonderful privilege that is. I am thankful that God judges rightly. I am thankful that we can have confidence in what God calls us to do, knowing that He will equip us as we abide in Jesus. I am thankful that He calls His children by name. I am thankful that He works all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. I am thankful that we have a Counselor who teaches us, brings things to our remembrance and comforts us.

I am thankful for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Gratituesday ~ Newness

Spring is such a wonderful time of year. Saturday we were able to get out in the yard and get things cleaned up, cleaned out and planted. Yesterday, our youngest son and I went out and played frisbee. It is so refreshing to breath in the cool spring air, to be lighthearted, and to play and laugh with your child. I am so grateful that God gave us springtime. A time of refreshing and newness. A reminder to me that even from the barrenness of winter newness springs forth. So it can in our lives after we come through times of barrenness ~ God lets newness spring forth if we will just accept it. I give thanks.
