Spring is such a wonderful time of year. Saturday we were able to get out in the yard and get things cleaned up, cleaned out and planted. Yesterday, our youngest son and I went out and played frisbee. It is so refreshing to breath in the cool spring air, to be lighthearted, and to play and laugh with your child. I am so grateful that God gave us springtime. A time of refreshing and newness. A reminder to me that even from the barrenness of winter newness springs forth. So it can in our lives after we come through times of barrenness ~ God lets newness spring forth if we will just accept it. I give thanks.

Amen to the blessing of spring! We have so been enjoying it -- and even a couple rare summer-like days here in New England! From simply outdoor playtime, to working int he yard, to nature walks, to discovering all the new blooms and critters coming out. Love it!
Ohhh the Lord is so good grand and Gracious in the gifts He gives us yes!! Blessed be the Lord and His everlasting mercys!

This weekend was the first really nice weekend we've had. I took advantage of it and got my garden squared away and a few cold weather seeds sown. So glad you had a chance to enjoy the good weather also!
