Busy Days

We have been quite busy lately. Preparations for the upcoming wedding in May for our middle son have been underway. I finally found my dress this past Friday. I am waiting to hear back from the caterer in regards to the rehearsal dinner which will take place at the bride -to-be's house. A bit awkward for us but it will be okay.  We have a bridal shower this Saturday. In addition to the wedding our middle son, his fiancee, and our daughter-in-law will all graduate from college a week before the wedding. My son wants us to host a get together for the graduates at our home and invite his fiancee's family. My youngest sister has been through some pretty rough days and is still not totally well. My Dad had a light stroke. He has some confusion in his thoughts and is dealing with some feelings of oppression/depression but otherwise is doing well. I am an aging woman who feels like her hormones are all over the place these days!

 I was praying about a situation recently, asking God for wisdom. His answer ~ handle with care. I think I need a big stamp with this on it right now to stamp many things with. It is so true though. How we handle situations today effects tomorrow. I am thankful that I don't have to handle things alone, that God hears my prayers and helps me. He absolutely gets us ~ He doesn't have to "figure us out"! He knows where we are, what we need, and when we need it ~ and His timing ~ well it's impeccable. If I would just keep this at the forefront of my mind at all times I would do well.
