Looks Delicious

Yesterday, my husband had to make a trip out of town with his job.  There is a restaurant along his way, owned by a Mennonite family, that he visits when he has to take this trip.  He almost always brings us back some goodies.  We have enjoyed all kinds of baked goodies from there.  Yesterday, he brought home something we have not tried before ~ pies.  If they taste as good as they look, we are in for a treat.  We are having company tonight and thankfully we will have dessert already fixed.

I'm afraid this week is not doing much for my diet. We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday Tuesday night, of course there was cake ~ and now pie.  I will just be thankful and control my portion.
