The Simple Woman's Daybook

The Simple Woman\

FOR TODAY...

Outside my window...March 2, 2010

I am thinking...about Ann's posts at Holy Experience for yesterday and today. I enjoyed them very much. And what good observations she shares about people, and the need for love ~ and most of all the One who truly fulfills that longing. There are some great teaching tools on today's post, also.

I thought of this song along with Ann's post.

I am thankful...that Jesus loves me, this I know. That He loves you too!

I am remembering...That I am suppose to do unto others as I would have them do unto me ~ not as they do unto me. I must remember where my strength comes from and that God helps me love.

I am going...to stay in where it is warm most of the day.

I am reading...my Bible, in the book of John (study from Explorer's Bible Study), Living The Extraordinary Life by Charles Stanley, and Angels by Dr. David Jeremiah.

I am hoping...to get a quilting project started again with my mom and sisters and to enjoy learning a new hobby/skill.

Noticing that...it is just starting to get light outside. It has rained some, but no snow as of yet. It must be windy. I can hear the wind chimes from the front porch.

Pondering...that sometimes it is nice to not be pondering.

From the kitchen...simple breakfast, lunch ~ I'm sure there will be some ~ just not sure what. Supper ~ poppy seed chicken.

One of my favorite things...kindness.

Happy Birthday KC ~ my sister, my friend ~ love you!
Hoping you have a wonderful day.
