Ah, Sunday School. I really like the idea that my SS Teacher shared about taking snapshots (in the mind, mind you) of our days and then looking back at them. What would we see, what would others see. There was a lot of laughter going on as comments were shared. What a good idea, though. To take stock and really see what's going on. I have a feeling I would have a lot of photos I would rather discard than share. If so, then change should come. Wasn't it Albert Einstein that said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? Mercy, I need to get rid of some insanity!
Our Pastor's sermon Sunday was on what the church (the body of Christ) should look like. I thought it was a very good sermon. When he talked about the different parts of the body, he mentioned what it would be like if the Church were one big eye bouncing around grossing people out. I got tickled at the thought of that. My son said I was the only one laughing. Surely not. Maybe my hormones are more messed up than I think! He certainly challenged us to be the body and bride of Christ that we should be ~ focused on the Groom.
One more thing. I was visiting at Heart of Wisdom and came across this. Go ahead and take a look.
Yea, not everything is as it appears!
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

It seems to be bringing attention to living consciously, in the moment, and staying focused on walking the walk He's intended for us.
I've spent many an hour looking through greeting cards, laughing hysterically, all by my self. ;)
Yes, PJ, conscious, moment by moment, focused walking the walk.
Well said.
I'm wondering if I should just order some greeting cards just to have on hand for a good laugh!
